We spend a lot of time designing things for little adventures, so it felt only right to put our own kit to the test this summer.
While the TÖASTIE team headed off in very different directions, there was one thing that came along for the ride: a weatherproof robe.
From mountain trails in Canada to cold-water swims in the Scottish Highlands and sandy days by the sea, here are a few places our robes found themselves this summer.

Jessie ~ Whistler, Canada
Jessie headed to Whistler, where the days were spent hiking through the mountains and the weather had a habit of changing its mind.
Her olive weatherproof robe came along for the adventure, becoming particularly welcome once the temperature started to drop after a day on the trails.
“I took my olive weatherproof robe hiking in Whistler and it was such a great thing to have with me. The weather can change so quickly in the mountains, so it was perfect after a long day on the trails and whenever the temperature dropped.”
There’s something about being in the mountains that makes you notice the weather a little more. One minute you're warm from walking uphill, the next you're reaching for another layer.

Georgia — The Scottish Highlands
Next stop: the Scottish Highlands.
A campervan, cold-water swims, long mountain walks and plenty of time outside in the ever changing Scottish weather, made for the ultimate test of a weatherproof robe.
“I packed my black robe for a campervan trip around the Scottish Highlands and honestly lived in it. It was the first thing I reached for in the mornings when it was chilly outside the van, and it came everywhere with me from cold-water swims, walks and evenings at the campsite. It definitely earned its place in the van!”
From stepping out of the van on a cold morning to warming up after a swim, it was one of those pieces that earned its place by simply getting used over and over again.

Lucinda — Salcombe, UK
For Lucinda, the robe became a family affair.
With two kids, a husband and a holiday by the sea, there was only one sensible option... pack one for everyone.
“With two kids, a husband and a holiday by the sea, I knew we’d need more than one robe! We packed one for everyone and they were brilliant for beach days, sea swims and those slightly chilly walks home. Having a robe for each of us meant there was no fighting over who got to wear it first!”
From beach days and sea swims to slightly chilly walks home, having a weatherproof robe for everyone meant the whole family could get outside without worrying too much about what the weather was doing.
Wherever the adventure takes you
The best outdoor kit is the stuff you don’t have to think twice about packing.
The piece that lives in the van. The one that gets thrown over wet swimwear. The one you reach for when the sun disappears behind a cloud or the temperature drops at the end of the day.
From mountain trails in Whistler to campervan trips through the Highlands and family beach days in Salcombe, our weatherproof robes are made to come along for the ride.
Where will yours take you?
