Who we are

Töastie | Wild Explorer is the trading name for Toastie Explorer Limited (Company number 12423745). Our registered address is Ravenstone Hall Estate Office, Ashby Road, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 2AA. 

We are the data controller, which means we are responsible for deciding how and why your personal information is used. We are also responsible for making sure it is kept safe, secure and handled legally.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. This involves us analysing your account activity including applications, orders, payments etc. We do this to confirm your identity, prevent and detect crime, and lend responsibly. How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

To process any orders that you place with us and to facilitate any returns 

  • We take payment details to process payment for any credit or debit card orders you place with us. We share these details with our chosen payment processors (for example Clearpay or Paypal).
  • We use your account information plus your chosen delivery address details to; deliver your purchases and keep you informed of their status, and to process any returns including (where appropriate) collecting the item from you (for example Royal Mail or DHL).
  • Our chosen payment processors may store your payment card details at your request to speed up your checkout in the future (consent).

  • To register an account with us we capture information such as your name, contact and delivery information, and a password to protect your account (account information). We use the same information on an ongoing basis to manage and provide secure access to your account, and provide you with the services you request.

How long we keep your data for:

We keep your personal information as long as you are a customer of ours and generally for 7 years afterwards to comply with legal requirements. During that time we take steps to remove any personal data as soon as we no longer need it.

We consider you a customer:

  • for 2 years from the point you last made a purchase from our website using a non-credit account, or
  • during any time we are managing a customer service request from you.


Third Parties we share data with and receive data from

We work with trusted third parties to provide you high quality goods and services. Anybody we work with is subject to stringent security and data privacy assessments before we begin to do business with them and on an ongoing basis.

    We use Klaviyo to manage our email and SMS marketing communications. Information submitted through our website forms, purchase activity, website interactions and engagement with our emails or SMS messages may be processed by Klaviyo on our behalf in order to send communications, personalise content, automate customer journeys and analyse marketing performance.

    Advertising Platforms

    We work with advertising partners including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and other advertising platforms. Mobile Terms of Service

The Töastie | Wild Explorer mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Toastie Explorer Limited (“Töastie”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Töastie’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Toastie through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialilng system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Töastie. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to Toastie | Wild Explorer or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Toastie mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
